Yahken Amen (Ken Ken Tha Boss)
Yahken Creadell Amen, (born September 27th, 1990) better known as Ken Ken Tha Boss, is an American record producer, artist, song writer, film director, actor, published author and CEO of YES Records. He can be seen in union SAG productions since the age of 3 months. His career began on ABC's "Gabriel's Fire" (starring James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair) where he played the role of "the adopted baby". He later appeared in "Kane & Able", "Kill'n Me Softly" and Warner Bros television series "The Parent 'Hood" (starring & directed by Robert Townsend) as an on going character named "Daniel". He was also involved in television commercials & sport leagues as a child but by the age of thirteen he became more interested in creating music. Yahken's first rap song "Wild Out" quickly became a success in his city. Using his growing fame to his advantage, Yahken started hosting parties at popular clubs & skating rinks. By the age of seventeen "Ken Ken Tha Boss" became one of the biggest names in Saint Louis's music scene. He recorded five albums, performed & hosted more than 260 events, featured on eight CD’s, launched his own record label and collectively sold more than 120,000 units worldwide. Yahken produces & writes songs for many international artist & has collaborated original music projects with fellow rappers such as "Soulja Boy" etc. He can also be seen in multiple videos with fellow St Louis natives like "Shorty Da Prince". Yahken Amen is recognized as an very influential artist in America's underground music scene & for being the nephew to the late great Creadell "Red" Jones. Red is best known for his distinctive bass voice which was one of the trademarks for Chicago's recording group "The Chi-Lites". The Chi Lites are best known for their chart topping hits "Oh Girl", "Have You Seen Her" & "Are You My Woman" which was later sampled for Beyonce & Jay Z's biggest hit record "Crazy In Love". Yahken Amen's album, "Trillionaire Dreams" is slated for a release in the spring of 2014.
